Elecx LLC operates https://elecx.co. These terms cover use of our website and services for selling used electronics along the Gulf Coast. When you submit a selling request, you agree to these terms.
Using our website
Provide accurate information and use the website for legitimate inquiries and transactions. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse another person’s information.
If you create an account, keep your sign-in details secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Available services, devices, locations, and appointment times may change.
Your authority to sell
You must be legally able to enter into the sale and own the device or have authority to sell it. The device must be lawfully transferable. Do not offer lost or stolen devices or misrepresent their condition or ownership.
Disclose damage, financing obligations, activation locks, and other restrictions that may affect a sale. We may request identification or evidence of ownership and decline a purchase if eligibility or ownership is uncertain.
Offers and inspection
An online offer is preliminary, based on the information you provide, and subject to inspection and confirmation. Receiving an offer or submitting a selling request does not commit either party to a purchase.
We may revise an offer or decline a purchase after inspection. We will confirm the final offer with you, and you may accept or decline it before completing the sale.
Appointments and meeting spots
Appointments depend on availability and confirmation with us. A listed meeting spot is a place to meet an Elecx representative. Listing a business or public facility does not mean it is an Elecx partner or endorses our services.
Payment and completing the sale
Payment follows inspection and agreement on the final offer. Confirm your payment details with the representative before completing the transaction.
Available payment methods are confirmed at the time of sale. Third-party payment services have their own terms and account requirements.
The sale is complete and ownership transfers to Elecx when we have agreed on the final offer, payment has been confirmed, and you have handed over the device. Completed sales are final unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different result. Contact us if there is a payment error or another issue with your transaction.
Personal data on your device
Back up any information you want to keep. Remove personal data, sign out of accounts, and remove activation locks before handing over your device to complete a sale.
Do not share account passwords or device passcodes through our website. The website does not back up or erase your device.
Our services and responsibility
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may correct errors, change available services, or restrict access to address misuse or security concerns. This does not remove our obligations for a completed sale.
To the extent permitted by law, Elecx is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website or services. This limitation does not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
